Tour Itinerary

1 Day 1 - Day 1: Paro Arrival – Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport, complete immigration formalities, and meet your Bhutan Taxis driver. Begin your drive to Thimphu (65 km, 1.5 hrs), stopping at the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge for photos. Upon hotel check-in, visit the grand Buddha Dordenma statue and take a walk around Thimphu city if time permits. Overnight at Thimphu.

2 Day 2 - Day 2: Full-Day Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore major landmarks: King's Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, and Changangkha Monastery. Visit the Takin Preserve and get a bird's-eye view from BBS Tower viewpoint. Browse Bhutanese artifacts at the Handicrafts Market and explore the Weekend Market (if open). Overnight at Thimphu.

3 Day 3 - Day 3: Thimphu to Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest

Check out and drive back to Paro. Begin a guided 5-hour round-trip hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan’s most iconic site. Post-hike, visit Kyichu Lhakhang or relax in riverside cafés and local markets. Overnight at Paro.

4 Day 4 - Day 4: Departure

Check out and transfer to Paro Airport in a comfortable vehicle. Bid farewell to the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
